The Rwandan primary teacher is presently paid £34.61 per month, when he or she is lucky to have her salary on time. After some estimations, one finds out that with the amount of that bail, 100 primary teachers could be paid their current monthly salary for 24 years. The insanity of the situation resides in the object of the bail: to keep out of prison but under house arrest the Rwandan general who is accused of war crimes, crimes against humanity and crimes that could be considered as genocide in front of a court. Wouldn't ve been more wise to keep him in prison, even for his own safety because after careful analysis he might fall victim of an accident while out IF Kagame sees him ...

Il y a effectivement (1) le risque d'abus du principe de la compétence universelle avec ses conséquences bien abordées et (2) l'impunité et ses conséquences monstrueuses au niveau de la Justice et, donc, de la démocratie. Tandis que le risque d'abus aussi craint est bien analysé et, souvent, minimisé dans un système judiciaire à maturité, l'impunité qui est un outil privilégié des dictatures n'a aucun contrôle dans les régimes qui s'en servent. Enfin, il ne faut pas oublier que l'individu Karake est suspecté d'avoir causé la mort violente de plusieurs africains et que le régime qu'il sert est vraiment un régime génocidaire selon le Mapping Report des Nations Unies. http://www.financialafrik.com/2015/06/27/suite-a-larrestation-du-general-rw...
