Thanks for the info pertinent to mandate of this commission.

Could you tell us whether this commission is permanent or temporary? 

It's website doens't say any thing about this valuable info which should be part of the commission's mandate.

- Advising the Government and the Parliament on reform of laws in order to make them consistent with the Constitution;

 

- Providing to public institutions legal advice on draft laws or any other law reform related issue; and receiving and considering any proposals for reform of laws that are submitted by an institution or any interested person".

Quelqu'un peut-il m'expliquer comment un individu recruté comme « consultant international indépendant » sur un contrat initial de 6 mois se retrouve - avant même la moitié de l'échéance prévue – bombardé au sein d'une Commission Nationale?!?

 

N'est-ce pas encore un de ces « plans pourris » du F.P.R (a.k.a « repaire de bandits armés »!) mis en place pour débaucher cette « grande gueule »?!

 

Ça fait 20 ans que l'on parle de « reformes judiciaires» et apparemment le chantier n'est pas encore terminé – à moins que ça ne soit un chantier éternel!!!

 

Par ailleurs, ces commissions qui se multiplient comme des champignons ne servent essentiellement qu'à une chose : « caser » de nouvelles recrues et autres partisans du régime!

 

On aurait pu s'inquiéter de la nomination de cette « incompétence incarnée » en matière juridique et judiciaire (a.k.a Evode Uwizeyimana); seulement, le pays a déjà touché le fond en termes de respect et d'application des lois qu'il n'y a plus grand-chose à perdre!!!

 

N'en témoigne la dernière loi sur la confiscation des biens et propriétés des « indésirables » (Rujugiro et consort) ou la dernière condamnation purement politique et totalement indécente de l'opposante Victoire Ingabire Umuhoza!!!

 

En passant, quelqu'un saurait-il la composition exacte de cette commission, notamment son Président?! (J'imagine un « homme du sérail » qui veillera à ce que le petit toutou Evode se tienne à carreau!!!)

Netters, Le conseil des ministres vient de nommer Me Uwizeyimana Evode au poste de vice-president de la commission nationale charge de la reforme juridique, ci-après: Rwanda Law Reform Commission.
