Mali : un général rwandais à la tête de la Minusma



La force des Nations unies au Mali (Minusma)sera dirigée par le général rwandais Jean-Bosco Kazura. Jean-Bosco Kazura a déjà servi en tant que commandant adjoint de la force de l’Union africaine au Darfour (Soudan). Au Mali, il aura la charge des 12 600 militaires déployés par l’ONU. Jean-Bosco Kazura sera secondé par un général nigérien et un chef d’état-major français. Le Tchad avait exprimé le souhait de diriger la Minusma, mais la candidature du général tchadien présentée par Ndjamena n’a pas été retenue. Les premiers casques bleus seront déployés dans le nord du Mali à partir du 1er juillet.
